“Analog noise, fragmentary synthlines and raw basses resurrect the performative element of hip hop and instrumental beats. With this album, Trackscan positions himself away from current clinical tidy clichés or trends and digs into the dirty depths of (dubish) live tape-recorded monotonous beats and bass lines, constructing a hypnotic timeless atmosphere. The beats, melodies and sounds are unique, at the same time they create a pleasant “audiomind-déjà vu”, a mixture between well-known audio fragments (as it seems) and pictures crossing your mind – while you hear.
